What's new in Mercurius 4.0
Mercurius v4.0 (released 12th August 2007) features many improvements in both software and content.
Software
- The handling of the repertories has been completely rebuilt in order to allow editing and creating new repertories and other structures (list, families etc.). Editors allow you to edit most of the structures used in Mercurius, making any changes readily available for use. See screenshots.
- All our repertories now use a common base of remedies, which makes it much easier to combine rubrics from different repertories. Originally, every author uses its own naming conventions which makes it a headache when you need to use more than one repertory.
- List of remedies has been updated (now more than 3900 remedy listings) and corrected.
- List of families has been completely revamped - now it contains more than 1500 families and 7300 remedy assignments.
- Intelligent evaluation by families is now part of the standard evaluation. You can use this evaluation even for your custom-edited repertories and/or families (see screenshot).
- Completely revamped export to Excel and HTML. New procedure writes directly to Excel format, so you don't need to have MS Excel installed; it will also work for OpenOffice users.
- Main desktop - now you can ungroup grouped rubrics.
- New searching options in MM Browser - exact phrase match search, search within specified remedies
- Additional non-remedy-specific information is now available for certain books in MM Browser
- full Windows Vista support
Repertory
Materia Medica
- Jan Scholten's Wadstories 1 are now part of all versions (to lure you into buying the full Scholten pack which includes majority of his works :-).
- Heavy artillery of Frans Vermeulen's works is available for purchase in Vermeulen pack.
- Addition to MM Pack 4 -> Hansen, Oscar - A Textbook of Materia Medica and Therapeutics of Rare Homeopathic Remedies (153 pages)
- Addition to MM Pack 4 -> Roberts, Herbert Alfred - The Rheumatic Remedies (442 pages)
- Addition to MM Pack 4 -> Rowles, Joie - A Proving of Sialia Currucoides (Mountain Bluebird) (128 pages)
Improved support options
Mercurius now includes the option of remote support over the Internet, where live assistant can assist the user with the problem.
The system allows the assistant to see the user's screen and control their mouse and keyboard. It requires NO configuration or administration on the customer's side. Also, it does not require any ports to be opened on the customer's computer and therefore presents no security threat.
The necessity of this kind of support is determined by AEON GROUP, upon customer's request.
